PRINCE DANCES WITH THE (APOSTATE) STARS?
O-Kay take it from here posters am I reading too much into this or what??

    The Associated Press

NEW YORK — Sherri Sheppard finally got her wish to spend the night with Prince — but she had to share him with a few other celebrities, including Spike Lee, Naomi Campbell, Jamie Foxx and her "View" co-host Whoopi Goldberg.

     Here she is EXJW?

Prince called Sheppard and a host of other stars on stage Saturday night in his sold-out concert at Madison Square Garden. Lee played the tambourine as Alicia Keys, Jamie Foxx, Professor Cornel West, talk-show host Tavis Smiley and others danced onstage with Prince and Sheila E. to the hit "A Love Bizarre."

Prince recently made a surprise appearance on "The View" that left Sheppard swooning.

Prince pretended to bolt from the stage when he mentioned Sheppard's name, but then slyly told her: "Come on, Sherri. Dance with me, please. I wanna see what you really do."

The concert was part of Prince's "Welcome 2 America" performances in the New York City area; this was his first night at the famed Garden.

Although Prince released a new album overseas this year, Saturday's concert was classic Prince. He sang memorable tunes like "Kiss," ''1999," ''Let's Go Crazy" and "Purple Rain" — the only thing missing from the old days were the heels he used to wear. (He strutted and danced on stage in more sensible flats.)

Prince gave fans a surprise as he dusted off some of the more sexier songs from his classic catalog, including "Cream," ''Shhh" and "U Got The Look." NOTE ALL GOT PROFANE LYRICS

The Rock and Roll Hall of Famer hadn't sung many of those songs in years since he became a Jehovah's Witness. He didn't get too wild though and didn't pull out songs from his once-raunchy past.

Prince has two more dates left at Madison Square Garden — one later in December and another in January. Judging from the extended standing ovation he received Saturday night, he's looking forward to coming back. As he left the stage, he quipped: "This is my house now."

Now did Prince just commit multiple dfing offenses? What about this elective 'patriotic' Welcome 2 America tour?He is worth $100-200 million so he doesn't need the money.

Sherri Sheppard may have been raised as a JW; maybe she was even disfellowshipped - I don't know about that - but to call her an "APOSTATE" is just plain insulting.

Sherri Sheppard isn't smart enough to be an apostate! She's a moron!

Back in the 1990's when I was a JW

Hundreds of rank & file followers got disfellowshipped many left destitute even homeless on the streets (my own cousin) for less immorality than Prince Rogers. This f**ker still goes door to door in good standing.

Michael Jackson was a sweetie compared to Prince and he let the Watchtower off the hook by dissociating.I think the WT is in BIG scandal trouble with Prince.

    Time will tell.........

I do not know this Sherri Sheppard , but was she baptized and d/f'd? It makes a big difference in the legalese of J W land. Also, I know that Ray Franz was d/f'd for eating a meal with his employer, but in reality one can maintain a working or business relationship with a d/f person according to the rules. So Prince can say that this was simply business, arranged by the promoter or whoever....

In J W circles the guitarist Hank Marvin has continued in good standing despite working off and on with Cliff Richard, who was a very-nearly Witness but turned instead to "Babylon the Great"

I guess in show biz, it is hard to pin them down...

I think Prince will be a thorn in the feet of the WTS.  I just hope that he will hang in there and not da like Jackson.  Hope Prince gives the WTS plenty of trouble.

There are many passages in the Bible as titillating as Prince's lyrics (perhaps jut not in today's vernacular) - and not always with a single interpretation.  One could spin any of these lyrics in a positive light by saying it's about a married couple (not that you should do that without laughing or throwing up a little in your mouth).  Even Erotic City (if we cannot make babies, maybe we could make some time) can be presented as an uplifting message of chastity <smirk>.

In the end, he's rich enough and enough of a celebrity that the WTS will mollycoddle him as long as they can.  They've always made allowances for celebrity, as long as no one makes a big deal out of it to the wrong people.  After all, just think of how many people Prince has brought The Truth to.

I also remember when Sherri said that she was in HUGE debt in 1975.  Thing is ....She was 9 years old or so in 75.  She doesn't help the apostate case with her idiodicy.

The impact of Ms Sheppard on anything Jehovah's Witnesses Watchtower related is practically nil,who by the way isn't committing any disfellowshipping offenses because she is not a JW

The effect of more popular baptized exalted brother Prince Rogers Nelson on Jehovah's Witnesses watchtower related is HUGE in comparison who by the way is practicing multiple disfellowshipping offenses weekly.

His behavior would have gotten any and all my JW family and friends instantly dfed.

VH1 ranks Prince 5th in top 100 artist of all time between Hendrix and Dylan

Prince does for Jehovah's Witnesses what Tom Cruise does for Scientology.

Scientology suffered over Tom Cruise Scientology tantrums that was advertised on TV, there where thousands of mocking post at blogs.

Reg; Sherri being a wacko all the more reason for Prince not to ASK HER to dance.

Prince! Prince! And i just thought, It's never gonna happen—he's not gonna pose now when he should be on stage in front of an arena. And you could hear the thunder of everyone's feet. All of a sudden he just appeared on a little golf cart and he just ... So, I looked down at the object as soon as he'd gone and it was Jehovah's Witness pamphlet. So that was his answer. I still got it. I keep it as souvenir; an amazing experience. And, again, I was fortunate to have got it. ...

This is a sore spot for me. Back in the late 80's, I was a musician, and the elders were all over a few of us that were studying towards baptism. We also worked as musicians. With the exception of one of us, we all quit music. I was even counseled a number of times for my choice of music, which included Prince. I believe "Sign o the times" had just been released. So with a warning that my choice of music was going to hinder my spiritual progress, I threw out the tapes.

It's now 20 years later and I'm watching the purple publisher singing the very songs on TV I was counseled for. (Gag). I hate this religion
