I have that book.

JW's run when I show them those pages.

I remember the book being released in 1966...[For us it was a bigger event than England winning the World Cup! that same year] Many thought that it was telling us the date of Armageddon. I remember an old sister pointing out that "No one knows the day or the hour" the Bible says.."Ah, but The Bible does not say about the year"..the old P O (Cong Servant) said....

In fact it is loaded with weasel words that we later used as a get out. "How appropriate it would be" "It would be according to loving purpose" "shortly. within our generation....."

But this is the book that started off the whole 1975 thing.

This is the book that started it all:

1963 "All Scripture Is Inspired of God and Beneficial" was the original mention of 1975,

on pages 286-287, in the 1990 reprint a small note was added about the time of Eve's making.

From this my wife and others in the cong during 1963-64 were sure 1975 was the time of Armageddon.

Some Brothers and Sisters assumed '75 would be the end, they went beyond what was taught
