I am glad in a way no longer to be chained to the ideas of this movement, or indeed to anything else in this world.

JWs say they are Gods channel? Yet, this God who cannot lie keeps sending out new light on his will, and the Bible says he is a God that doesnt change. As many of you know, and indeed will agree, their teachings are false, as well as practices on dividing families. Now, even crackpot Robert King has become apologetic in defending the wbts stance on child abuse, and goes as far to say that it is only disgruntled people, and disfellowshipped people that complain about these things, and to say that Barbara Anderson and Bill Bowen are sad persons who are controlled by Satan. No one is allowed to say anything against the wbts, except for this self appointed prophet, member of the 144000, faithful slave and two witness group. And anyone can be part of that group and spout whatever they want, and to spout openly that child abuse is ok, and is just a tool used by disgruntled people is distressing, especially when people like Bill Bowen and Barbara Anderson devote so much time to helping victims of these terrible attacks on innocent children-shame on you Robert King.

In the movie "Zeitgeist", one speaker says that religion is most definately at the bottom of the dirt pile, as they are controlled and put there by the very same people that control our Governments and indeed all institutions, and to be frank, Jehovahs Witnesses, although claiming to be the truth are just another very mainstream religion, that like all other religions, preaches about God, but not according to accurate knowledge. As no real followers of Christ would get involved in the things they have been involved in, have done, and indeed still do, and what they preach can only be determined as acts of apostasy.

Don Cameron, Ray Franz really have highlighted the dirty goings on and whats done to control people, and how sad it is for the nearly 7 million still held captive to their teachings.

I believe that the events of revelation and indeed the bible are still future, and not tied to 1914, or any other date.

Nutjob King now believes in the mayan encounters which are supposed to occur in 2012, too bad for him, since he has now gone along on the path of holding fast to dates. He, like the wbts is very dangerous.

The day cant come quick enough when Christ will come and do away with these people and Organisations.

Apostasy is what goes on at religions very centre, and people like Cameron and Franz only highlighted what does go on. Some people have woken up, but sadly 7 million are still blind to the facts, and blind to what their self appointed slave actually tell them.

NO LONGER HELD CAPTIVE- Welcome to the board friend. Very true what you say. Even though 7 million are still held captive- that is changing and for the better thanks to people like Don Cameron and Ray Franz , Barbaraq Anderson and Bill Bowen.  Also people like Steve Hassan who wake people up to the fact that Jehovah's Witnesses are indeed - a mind control cult. We are seeing an influx of newbies here on JWN - I would guess about 15 to 20 each week from what I've noticed - of witnesses wanting to exit, or who already have exited trying to break free into free and clear thinking escaping the witnesses.

So- I believe we will see an awakening and people ARE starting to use their reasoning ability and that is a very good thing. By the way- Who is Robert King ? Dumb question, I know, but just curious. Nice to have you on the board , Peace out, Mr. Flipper

King is a self appointed ex jw elder that was disfellowshipped for apostasy. He comes from Morrice in Michigan and has the site e-jehovahs-witnesses.com. E-watchman.com was removed by his service providers. He is what we call in England as being a 'Tube".

You can look at other posts on this board about him, some like him, some dont. For someone who is "supposedly" of the remnant, he is extremely abusive to people that dont agree with his views, and on this point, Chuck Missler, made a terrific point, as did Dr. Webster Tarpley in the Zetgeist Movie, that all societies, to maintain cohesiveness, they have to have an enemy figure, and use legalism as a tool to bring people down. Now, legalism, its a bit like the pharisees, whereby you dont count, nor does you opinion, there is room for only one opinion on the boat and guess who it belongs to? legalism is to do with the self, explaining self, justifying self, making self look innocent, legalism is when my opinion becomes your burden, when you cant do enough to fufill my wishes, legalism is when you no longer count or are worthy enough to figure, or even come into the periphery of my thoughts................would you say that this describes the wbts? They have legalised Gods word, and even have a secret elders handbook, they have, as Jesus said, pushed Gods word aside for their own teachings and traditions, thus making the word of God null and void.

Many people are hurting in the congregations because this unchrist like behaviour, and Ezekiel was write, he summed it up in one sentence by saying that those that were carrying Gods name not only stumbled peoples, but entire nations. We see this in the congregations, and also those on the outside too see it and are stumbled.

And when did christ ever shun people because they didnt agree with him? when did he ever seperate families? I think all of you here, somehow have posed these very questions and indeed answered them according to what you yourselves have experianced.

    Welcome to the forum.

    YES, wonderrful freedom it is.

It was tough for me to realize that WT was 180 degrees out of line with what I thought it was.
I look forward to any input you have on the forum.  Zeitgeist, I loved it.  WTS was born in a zeitgeist (The spirit of the time; the taste and outlook characteristic of a period or generation) The zeitgeist was rebellion against established religion.

Hi, like all other religions they are just mainstream, and have, like all others, caused lots of damage and have hurt lots of people, and when people speak out, or go to the authorities, then they are labelled as mad, bad or even indifferant, because as Dr webster tarpley had said, they need the enemy figure to maintain "social"cohesion, but they use fear to do it. Phillipians speaks about having the mind of christ, would christ really do any of the things they do? As for the continuous new light which is spewed out, well, they say they are Gods spokesman, so what they are saying is, God got it wrong last time, but this is what he thinks now-have you ever heard so much bullshit in your life? how can a God of truth change so easily?

They also hold on to 1914, and it just aint going to happen.

All these prophecies in the bible are future, even the preaching of the good news. Yes, they may very well preach it, but so do other evangelicals, and like all others and the evangelical groups, they dont do it according to accurate knowledge, and as zeitgeist had pointed out, the powers that be just use religion as a tool for control, and they come no higher controlled than they do with Jehovahs Witnesses-now where does the love of God or christ fit into this controlling? soon, they will want to know all details, even of those belonging to the bedroom and how often one farts everyday..........this is very funny, but funny because its true, and 7 million remain chained to a concept that just aint so, and Robert King, likewise uses the wbts control technique to keep members of his board, a core few under his control. So, JWs, they are really very, very dangerous.

I wonder now about those thatve committed suicide because they were looking for a way out of being captives to their demonic masters concepts of enslavement? how many couldve been saved before ending their very lives...what God of love would want that?

Jesus preached freedom, so where is the freedom? there aint any, because as jesus said, these teachers and preachers traverse land and sea to make others like them, and when they do, then they make them twice as much a subject for gehenna....now isnt that something to think about? I think in Peter or Jude, they say the same thing about those preaching freedom while they themselves are still held captive?

A little investigation into the bible itself would go a long way in helping these people be free of these erronous concepts, but it aint going to happen, instead they are going to end up very disappointed, when their masters dont come up with the goods they had promised their followers that follow them like sheep to the slaughter.

Just as christ had said the blind leading the blind and they all of them fall into the same hole
