Older Men/Younger Women

My husband is 18 yrs older than I am.  We've been married for 17 yrs, lived together for a 18 months before we got married.  Seems to be working out.

I was df'd but still believing JW when we met.  I wasn't going to meetings, or teaching my children, but in the back of my mind I was still accepting of, 'it was the truth, and I was gonna die'.  ;

I have children, they were 12 & 7 when we got married.  They called him by his first name, not 'dad', but they are closer to him then they are their own dad's. 

He has grown children, only a few yrs younger than I am.

I was 19 when I married my husband (he was 30). It's been 15 years and we're still happily married. I have several friends that married guys their own age and they are all now divorced.

All right.  It seems to me I can see a big difference between my particular world and yours.  Non-believer.  Didn't mean to hurt anyone.

Dad was 56 and mom was 28 when they produced me, so, uhm.... let that be a warning
