Alabama Post 10446 of 11426 Since 5/2/2007	What happens to the members of a football team who sit on the sidelines and NEVER get to play? If they are professionals, do they still get paid? I'm asking because I notice some who never leave the benches? Or, am I seeing things? Sylvia

Massachusetts Post 3264 of 3320 Since 2/20/2007	They get to play in the last few minutes of a game when the coach has determined the team has no chance of winning and sometimes when the team has no chance of losing. It's protecting the valuable players.
