Don't go for headshots. LoL. I hear (was involved in a convo about this the other day at lunch, never been myself) that it hurts as much as someone pinching you... But I'd wear a cup to be safe. Some places you don't want pinching. |

I went paintballing about 10yrs ago and it is very painful! Lol...I had open wounds and bruises so big afterward. Id worn jeans and was fully covered up, but it sure made a mess of my body. Make sure you wear LOTS of padding! |

It is painful if you get hit, try airsoft instead. Very similar to paintball but uses 6mm plastic BBs instead, just as much fun nowhere near as painful. |

Dress like your mum made you before you could go out on a really cold winter day. Layers upon layers. Of course that makes you a better target.... but it won't give you bruises all over. Then again, you might be able to get Mrs. Nic' to kiss all your bruises better. |

Don't get hit? Barring that try not to have the minimal amount of skin exposed. A good solid hit will raise a welt the size of a marble, leave a bruise the size of a silver dollar that gradually fades to yellow. Have fun, it can be a big adrenaline rush.

As they've said, wear a cup and good eye protection. Being hit by a paintball feels like being stung by a wasp. Leaves a nice bulls-eye bruise, the "black-and blue badge of courage." Sure is fun though. Just don't lose an eye doing it.

now although i generally assumed that avoiding getting hit was probably the best course of action, i dont think men quite view it in the same light. from what i can gather from a returning war party, the dropping trousers and taking off clothes to show war wounds and bruises to show anyone and everyone remotely interested (or not) is an important part of the ritual. and street cred seems to be hogged by he who carries the most impressive colourful patches.

Paintballing is a war game. True Christians(tm) are against war, so by participating in a war game you will be scripturally blood-guilty and will be destroyed at Armageddon. Same with your kids playing Cowboys and Indians. Ditch the cowboy shirts and feathers or Jehovah will kill you AND them. Same with Chess. Ditch your chess board or Jehovah will kill you. But if you insist on dying at Armageddon, wear a cup. And a suit of midieval armor, too. Farkel, Bible-Based CLASS

I was soooo tired after my first paintball game. Fun as heck, even though I couldn't hit the broad side of a barn. |

I got hit at close range and it hurt like hell. Left a big welt too. Fun stuff but wear serious protective clothing and don't move without covering fire,....

! Does paintballing hurt as much as everyone says? I've heard that gloves and a 'cup' are good ideas but would really love to hear from you guys.
