Today in court Michael Jackson showed up twenty minutes late for his arraignment. In his defense though, how fast can you walk backwards, grab your crotch and have a chimp on your shoulder all at the same time?

Michael Jackson fired his lawyers because he thought that they were ignoring him. He said that if he wanted to be ignored, he would have released a new album.

You're right, Purplesofa.  The man lived with chimpanzees and wore pajamas to court.  We should show more respect for his dignity.

There does appear to be a time and place for everything and I really don't think now is the time to crack jokes.

What if it was your son,father,brother,cousin etc.

Now is a really emotional time for them and if any of MJ's family or friends do come across this thread I hope you

realize that some may feel a need to joke to either deal with this or make themselves feel better for their shortcomings

but it does not represent all of us that post on this forum.

My heart does go out to the family because I too lost a Uncle not long ago and the hurt and sadness is still there.

No matter what we individually thought of Michael as a person may we all realize that his family is still dealing with

his loss.

As I told an Elder in my congregation about a  DF person's funeral....there family still was going to the meetings and

they need support irregardless of what they thought of the DF individual.
