What Are You Getting/Buying For Mother's Day?

anything special? Dinner? Flowers??

We are going to breakfast in Old Towne Riverside, outdoors if its sunny then walk around the famous Mission Inn.

actually, i was thinking of sending her one of my DDAM ("Drunk Drivers Against Mothers") t-shirts i'm working on, along with a big note saying HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!! it'd be a hilarious double slap in the face seeing as she's still a witness and a mother.

Last minute Sat afternoon steak dinner at their house.  Dad's cooking.  Kid's (us and Kev's sis's) cleaning up.  We're bringing dessert.  All of our family gatherings (Kev's family) are fun.  Since Kev's mom is developing alzheimers, these are very special.

The cats will probably bring me in a mouse or gopher.

my mom is still a wit. and sometimes she infuriates me. but i am going to get her some flowers anyways, and just tell her i love her.

lol, that would be good, but I know that my mom would burn it.  I wouldnt' chance precious information not being appreciated.

I was going to get my bf's mom something but now since he messed up, maybe I won't be

Nothing because she's still a dub and a big PIA.

If I was buying her something, it would be a really cool plant I saw the other day.  It's one of those "strawberry" pots with the holes in the sides and has all different kinds of herbs growing in it.  It was really pretty.

I just hope I get to sleep in that would make me happy. Oh and to not have to change any diapers for 24 hours

There was a beautiful bouquet of flowers delivered to my office this morning, they were from my daughter, who lives quite a distance from us, totally caught me by surprise.  It definitely brought tears to my eyes.

I hope to have a relaxing Mother's Day, I don't know what the rest of the family has planned for me.

My mom likes to gamble, so Im going to buy her a bunch of scratch off tickets!  I will probably get the same thing I get every year, NOTHING!

My mother is in the 70's and she doesn't really need much, except love and respect from her children.  I'll buy her flowers... and say "I love you mom"...  Mothers are so sentimental.

And to think, the Watchtower tries to say that Mother's Day is pagan in origin!

My mother-in-law & I both asked for slippers this year! Cosy & warm ... And a big smoochie from my 2yo! And breakfast in bed.

Well, my Mom died when I was quite young.

My kids are still JW.......so nothing either ways.....

sigh........
