A week ago tomorrow our cat deserted us.

She managed to get out and ran away.  I've gone to several places where people claimed to have seen her, but nothing.  I hope some kind soul will bring her home.

We adopted her back in April 09; she's a gray brindle with one eye much larger than the other.

This bites so much that, if the worst should happen, I don't think we'll be getting another one.

Advice to Newborn:  Please watch your cat carefully - they're so high-spirited and unpredictable.

My g'daughter attached Buttercup to her name afterwards.

I dreamed the other night that she was back with us.

My g'daughter insists she smells like pumpkin!

    Sylvia..

When I move,I have to keep my cat in the house for 2 weeks..

That way he understands where he is..

After 2 weeks I let him out..

Then he`s free to come and go..

Sometimes he`s gone for a day..

                                                           But..

                                                       Not often..

Sylvia, so sorry about your new pet.

If someone found the collar, it probably means she was in a fight with another cat.  They tend to embed their nails and pull them off of each other.

She might be hiding somewhere and will come out when she is ready or possibly locked into some one's garage.  Don't give up....We've had cats come back after 2 weeks.

Have you posted on this Data base?  Its free for lost and found pets....  http://www.pets911.com/services/lostandfound/

I've used it before.  Just remember to remove your post and picture if you find your pet.

Sylvia, she's probably in heat and will come home knocked up.  If so, maybe you can send me a kitten.  My girl went out to climb trees and two dogs killed her two weeks ago.

Come to think of it, she had been mighty frisky!

    Count on it, girlfriend.

Lord, please have mercy!  I'm so sorry, Dinah.

do you have local vets or place take them if they find them injured?

one of mine went missing a few weeks ago and she'd been taken to a vets and with a broken pelvis, by the time i got her back i was 320 quid lighter.

and most of that was the over night stays fees.

Someone found the collar?  That's odd...Makes me think someone took her and took off her collar.

So sorry Sylvia, Maybe she will come back home.

Sorry about your cat Sylvia.  I've lost a few cats (one to old age, one ran over by a car and the other just disappeared, an owl or coyotes got it) and it's not fun.

    Thanks, Josie.

She was a spoiled little heifer!

Whenever I picked up the broom, she would look at me and sprawl on the floor.

I had to push her around on the smooth tile before I could do any sweeping!

    Spoiled brat!

I wouldn't argue with that, Satanus.

I know my g'sons are less troublesome than my g'daughters.

Every cat is different.  My favorite kitty was the one Mr. Dinah had when we met.  He died when he was about 15.   He loved to hunt and he once kicked a dog's ass.

This last one I had was so sweet.  I do think female cats tend to be more moody and quirky.  Go figure!
