I dated a girl who was in a lot of TV commercials. She is also feautred in the opening of the show 'Amen'. Her name was Nikki Anderson. Also, I am an acquaintance of Traci Wolfe-Hampton. She played Danny Glover's daughter in then Lethal Weapon movies. She has two children and she has put her career on hold in order to raise her kids. She does some modeling and some TV ads. She is a very sweet person and she looks much younger than 41 years-old. Oh, and I asked her what it was like to work with Mel Gibson and she said, "It's very easy to work...and look at...Mel Gibson"

I went to a Bush concert and after waited behind the arena for them to come on to the tour bus, Gavin Rossdale came out and signed all our autograph stuff and I even got to give him hug, and I couldn't resist, I grabbed his butt...WEEEEE! Less famous, but some Minnesota people will know this band, I used to hang out with Tina and the B-Sides when they came to St. Cloud. A friend of mine's older sister was friends with Tina, so we always partied with them. Good times! Another Minnesota band story. Last year Soul Asylum came back through St. Cloud to play the lovely Red Carpet. I was outside in the parking lot behind the club when Dave Pirner came outside and asked to borrow a smoke from my friend. He was a very nice guy and chatted with us while they all smoked.

Valis just jogged my memory!I met Larry Linville (from M.A.S.H.) when I worked at a hotel (front desk). He was on his way to get married to a friend of Oprah's (some news anchor in Chicago). Sadly, he died a few years later.

I once had dinner with Bobby Hedges (Epstein on Welcome Back Kotter). I also dined with George Miller, who directed all of the Mad Max movies as well as Lorenzo's Oil and The Witches of Eastwick. I have met Bill Mahr and Olympia Dukkas (sp), and have had cocktails a number of times with George Benson who was a regular at a place I also frequented in Englewood, New Jersey.I also used John Travolta's towels. Long story there.

I was shopping at Neiman Marcus looking for my husband's favorite cologne. I heard a familiar voice, I looked up and it was Roseanne Barr. I said you are Roseanne Barr and she laughed and said no - I'm Roseanne Arnold and put her finger to mouth (whisper jester). Don't tell anyone, I want to shop quietly.

Well, as a child a girl lived down the street from me and we use to play all the time, she was about 3 years ahead of me in high school. She went on to be the tampax girl, progressed to play on the WB show popular, now plays on That 80's show and is mostly known as Melissa Etheridge's much younger girlfriend...her name is Tammi Lynn Micheals.
Also in 6th grade I met Axl Rose of Guns N Roses. I use to baby sit for one of his friends children. I have met Katie Douglas, she is a player of the Orlando Miracle. </P> >I think that is all:) |

Charles Manson and I used to hang out alot. He had this God complex. It was so cool how he could make everyone think he was God and how he could manipulate people into thinking anything he said was true and get them to do anything he wanted because they thought he was god.I saw through him right away, but we hung out and had a few drinks. If he was a JW he would have made a good GB member. -S

I live in an area where many celebrities have homes and visit. When I include my sister, My Mom and Me, we have met a ton of people. In the 70's before Saturday Night Fever hit it big, my sister was in a local stage production with John Travolta (A star because of Welcome Back Kotter). His older sister lived in our town, and was the director. She told me he was a very nice guy. Back in the mid 80's I met Tristan Rogers. He played Scorpio on the soap General Hospital. This was during the Palm Springs Grand Prix and he was driving in the celebrity race. He didn't have a car, and so my Uncle(who was racing in the Grand Prix) was asked if Tristan could drive his car. Anyway, what a jerk! My uncle introduces me and the moron hardly knowledges me. And here I was a fan for all those years. I guess I didn't gush enough. Creep! Also at the same race was Perry King. I didn't meet him, but I remember spying his butt while he was talking to a TV reporter
I've seen Shelly Winters and Ozzy Osbourne in the supermarket. I've also seen Alicia Silverstone. I never go up to them though. I figure they would probably want to be left alone. My Mom has met, well this way years ago, Ali MacGraw and Steve McQueen when they were married. Nice but said Steve had a ton of wrinkles. She has also met, oh I can't remember his name, the Kung FU guy. Also a creep. When some little kid very sweetly asked for his autograph, the dude goes into a tirade at the poor thing that "he is NOT working right now"! Now, I remember his name! David Carridine! yuk! poo! Well, then I had an almost sighting. It was the Rolling Stones. It was 1980. The whole band was vacationing in town staying at a very exclusive resort. One of the employees came into the store I was working out to buy them some "supplies". The guy literally bought every bottle of the very expensive booze the store carried. Plus, he bought a ton of meat because they were going to bar-b-que. Interesting, this resort does not allow children under the age of 16. However, the guy reported that they had a ton of kids with them. Ahh, and they say celebrities dont' get special treatment. I met baseball player, Don Baylor, back in the early 80's when he played for the Angels. Very nice man, but HUGE! Oh, I went to high school with Michael Landon's (Little House on the Praire) son, Josh. Just a very normal kid. Tattered jeans and all. He had a major crush on my best friend. Oh, back in the late 70's, my husband's family had Eddie Money (the rock star) over for dinner. My husband's Father was a stockbroker and was trying to get him as a client. There's more, but that is all I can remember right now. AndeeEdited by - BeautifulGarbage on 19 July 2002 18:15:14 |

Meet Jason Newstead (the ex-Metallica bass player) when I did an installation at his house. Dude was way COOL! He had all the concert speakers and stuff in his garage and had a full blown recording studio! I was blown away! (Well then again I am a big Metallica fan!)

Beautifulgarbage, is it cool to ask on the forum what community? If not e-mail me.I have fam in the P.S. district. Also you may be a neighbor of someone I know who isn't a baptized JW but has studied off and on for many years and goes to the memorial every year. She lives near ( initals) S.B.'s mom. he's dead now. crashed into a tree. I drove for a lot of celebrities, if you want to call that rubbing elbows. I've met quite a few.And partied a couple times with some almost forgotten celebs. We could swap some stories
I won't talk about them on a public forum.plum![]() |

Well. I have been in psych hospitals with Rob Pilatus (Milli Vanilli....), Roseanne, Michael Douglas, Dexter Manley, and one of Elton John's ex's, (among others whose "situations" are still confidential)...Insider information: Rob thought Michael Jackson was a weirdo

I dont quite think that HM Queen Elizabeth is what you could call a 'celebrity' as such, but I have been to a royal garden party hosted by herself, its a long story as to how I was invited, but its one of my lifes golden memorys.
