JACKSON FAMILY TO HOST FIRST CHRISTMAS

Michael's sister La Toya, says, "We grew up as Jehovah's Witnesses and so didn't celebrate Christmas. But I think it's very important that Michael's children celebrate it, because that's what he did with them. I want them to continue to have that. I've spoken to my mother about Christmas and she said she will be celebrating."

What is Michael Jackson's mothers standing in the organization? Any chance that she could be disfellowshipped or would, in all probability, be ignored by the organization out of fear of negative publicity?

I don't think she would be ignored. They would most likely be more afraid of losing a large number of current JWs if they DIDN'T punish her. MJ was disfellowshipped, for instance (at least at one point)

She'll get private counsel like Michael did, like the Williams sisters probably have, like Prince is getting, the mind control and coercion can be subtle too without much fanfare, they call that shepherding, didn't you know.

I saw a pic of one of the kids in a karate/tae kwon do suit on their way to lessons.

This is insane. I doubt if any action will be taken but a local needs talk will probably be given about it.  They will make the comparison to a new bible student and how it takes time for them to change and how they don't expect them to just change overnight (well actually they do expect it but will not admit to it).

Since most of the Jacksons are not witnesses she can always blame it on them and then say she has to supervise the kids. I hope LaTonya gives video footage to a couple of the entertainment shows. 

Either way, the JWs will find a way to excuse it.

BTW, MJ was not DF'd he DA'd.

Do you all really think this will be the FIRST Christmas that the mom will partake in?

Remember when sisters were counseled with unvbelieving husbands to fix the Thanksgiving and Christmas meal for the spouse?  Do you really think they ate in the kitchen gnawing on a chickin bone while everyone else was in the dining room stuffing their faces ?

  I know the father was a tyrant, but I remember the Xmas album they made when they first came out, have a feeling that the studio wasn't the first time they sang those tunes ! ! !

It's entirely possible that LaToya or one of the 'boys' will host and Katherine will attend with the kids.
