I like to play the piano, the drums, and I am teaching myself to play the flute.. I can play the trumpet too but I have to practice it more.

Absolutely, I play my guitar just for me. I will improvise for hours with my headphones plugged in. It is a great way to relax and escape from the stresses of the day.

I always wanted to learn to play an instrument. My parents weren't willing to spend any money on an instrument or lessons for me. As an adult I never had the time.

I played trombone in school then played guitar, bass, drums, and keyboards,
wrote tunes, etc.  Cakewalk, E-MU 1616m PCIe, MIDI Strat, etc., is good for a
    home studio PC.

    bagpipe chanter..... thinking about
    a penny whistle too

    ( piano lessons killed me..
    no strategy we tried allowed
me to read music... go figure)

I play the piano.   Used to play for the meetings.  In fact , I did it for about 25 years. Now I play just for the enjoyment of it.
