Post 656 of 3569 Since 6/29/2005	I have a hair thing. I hate hair. So we don't have dogs or cats inside. I guess some would say that I'm not an animal lover. I love my dog. We lost our other dog to an accident a couple of months ago. I still miss him. When I saw this picture, I could not believe this!!! Like confused jw, this photo will be with me for the rest of my life. How could a human do this. But I think that anyone who would hurt an animal, has decreased or lack of respect for life of humans. Don't most sociopaths start on animals? HL

British Columbia Post 2639 of 5327 Since 3/16/2005	dogs and cats and us share a common ancestor. technically, we are equal to them, even though we have big brains and are mostly hairless. the fact that we treat other mammals like this, is testament to the fact that many other apes have no f-ing clue of who we are and where we come from. that said, there will always be suffering. if you eat vegitables or wash your hands with anti-bacterial soap, you are also killing other organisms with whom we share a common ancestor. that that said, we should still do what we can to treat others as they would treat us, including other animals.
