The first survey I asked how you were brought into the non-truth.

My next survey is along the same line, however what I would like to find out is on the average how many hours you spent in the field service and were you ever able to bring anyone into the non-truth via field service or via incidental witnessing.

And how long you were associated with the Borg?

Thank You In Advance For Your Input.

    20years associated.
Only brought 1 person in who may or may not have stayed. Had studies that came in but can't say I brought them in. Thankfully.
60 hrs a month for about 2 or 3 years. Rest of the time about 15hrs apart from the final year when it trailed off to a couple a month. I wouldn't like to try and calculate an average from that.

In 1973. Out 1988 (in reality, although our letter was dated early 1989.)

First couple of years pretty high hours, aux pioneered several times etc. After about 1979 dropped off to 6-10 a month. Last of couple of years was very irregular.

Neither one of us pulled anybody else in.

In off and on for 27 years. Baptized for 15 of them. Averaged 2-8 hours per month field service, aux pioneered one month of that entire time.

Raised in it, out completly by age 26. Before that pioneered for 4 years - so averaged 90 hours at that time. Before/after pioneering was probably safe to say I was 'average' at 10-12 hours/month. Except for last two years was more like 0-2

    Big fat zero 'converts'

I was a publisher from about age 8 until age 50. (1953-1995) No idea how many hours, but the last part of 1995 tghrough 1996, I lied, and didn't do any hours, but reported about 6 to keep them off my back. Pioneered 1990-1993, 1000 hours a year, or a bit less. No one cared if I made the time or not.

Either myself or my husband and myself, brought in many from door to door work. Lots of couples and families. Too many to count. I would guess maybe 25. Several are elders now. One couple quit in 1976. Hmmm. I wonder if they were 75ers?

I can't remember when I started publishing (ask Mulan) but I kept it up until about age 25 when I started lying about the hours.
Averaged around ten a month I suppose. Never pioneered except the occasional aux.

Brought one really sweet lady in. Unfortunately she is a single mother of two young girls. Wish I could get them back out.

Finally quit for good at age 26.

I don't recall how many hours I spent in service. It was too long ago to remember,so I can't help there.

I was in the borg for 10 years.

    I had zero converts.

    Hi
I was associated for 15 years. I would do the minimum witnessing I could because I hated it. Probably about four hours a week. I did auxiliary pioneer once. No converts, thank goodness I don't have that on my conscience.

Published for over 40 years, can't give you the hours. Only auxilery pioneered one month and absolutely hated it. Reported hours I didn't work some months just so the elders would leave me alone. Just faded out in the end and no one cared.
Brought in two people, one is not in any more and I lost track of the other. Many, many studies but to no avail. Some of my studies were with ones already going with their families and they either asked me to study or the elders thought it would be good. One was baptized but now out and one is still going but even after a good many years, she is still not baptized. Unfortuately I helped many family members to either come in or to continue in. My bad.

Lindy, wondering why you are doing these surveys. Self interest or what?

Lessee... publisher at 9 (though I'd been out in service lots previously), baptized at 13, da'd at 17.

    Hours:
Varied from 6-12 up until the last year or two, when I was more consistently around 5. I auxiliary pioneered 7 times during school breaks and made my time all of them. I was actually honest on my service report (if you don't count things like "getting my time started with a magazine at a laundromat before driving out to rural territory"). During the last year, I joked (to myself!) that I was a 3-60 publisher... 3 hours one month, 60 the next. (Ok, so I was a little hard put for good humor back then...)

Last month I ever went out in service was August '99, and I assured my mother that "of course" I would go out with the congregation up near my college. Went to a handful of meetings and left in November.

So, that would put me at ~1200 hours. Sooo glad I'm not finishing up my second year pioneering as opposed to college right now :)

And fortunately, I never came close to helping anyone in. I really HATED doing return visits. The only "Bible" study I had was with my best (worldly) friend from high school, who oddly enough failed to be convinced about why I would think 1914 fell out of obscure passages of Daniel. That study did far more for helping me realize that I would never become a witness if I hadn't been raised one than any amount of "unspiritual" pursuits would have.

    -T.

Well, It took me three long years to get baptised. I was a fence sitter ya know. LOL Baptized for three also but if you count the times that I back slid so to speak, might have been one year. I did bring a friend of mine in that religion and truly regret it now. I averaged 8 to ten hours a month in field service.
