Advice Re Wiretapping

This was emailed to another poster who mentioned elders using wiretapped information.  The poster said he has relatives caught up in a child molestation incident in another state, and the elders keep mentioning things he has said on the phone, evidently to intimidate and change his actions or statements.  Some other posters pooh-poohed what he said even as some used to the molestation going on.  Slowly but surely more and more persons will do as he has and also come forth to post here:

Hi, I believe you are correct.  They overhear you by devices called infinity mikes etc or by the "hook switch by-pass."  In this last method they electronically tap your phone.  Even when it's down on the receiver it is still picking up whatever is said in its vicinity which is then conveyed by phone line to the listener.  Many organizations have people who do it although it's strictly illegal, and the chances that fanatics in a billion dollar religious organization that thinks God only approves of that organization even though it is guilty of abetting pedophilia and the like are excellent.  You can try making use of your new knowledge.  Feed them phoney information or play your radio on raucous music a  lot when gone so that it bores and irritates them as they listen in. 

At some point it is also possible they may also use electronic sound harassment sometimes, so if you hear noises or voices you may not be schizophrenic but be hearing actual transmissions.  You may hear this in your bedroom, in your car, the lawn close to your house, and one person mentioned they saw a small indentation on their front door and the harasser had evidently inserted a transmitter there which sounded as they approached the door.  DO NOT waste time looking for transmitter devices though.  They may put odd-looking items that may not even be actual transmitters around hoping you will spot them and give them to someone who will say they aren't transmitters and think you are nuts.  Instead get a $70 or so high quality recorder with a long playing battery or wall socket plug in to actually record the sounds so that you have tangible proof.  Then you can offer the recording to a private investigator.  Show him a copy of my email so he knows you are not mentally unbalanced but may be the victim of an organization harassing people it fears will talk or have talked about its illegal activities, namely child molestation. 

If we can get something concrete on them, then it will help a whole lot of other people in the same boat.  You are not alone.  Remember that at first others posting on the internet doubted there was much if any at all of child molestation; now some 23,000 cases are cited and 5,000 confirmed by silentlambs.org.  It can take time.  Keep in touch. 

I will also share a copy of this on jehovahs-witness.com  Some of the posters there who made fun are sincere but stupid, others are Watchtower posers seeking to discredit what you said.  More and more of us will also be speaking up as time advances, even as was true of the pedophilia scandal.  The invasion of privacy of U.S. citizens by fanatics in a religious group is something that will bring their misleadership down real fast.  Most JWs are good people, but there are definitely inner circles of fanatics, too, "eager" for an Armageddon type scenario although not wanting to get themselves imprisioned either.

I recommend you sue the bastards until they're blue in the face. Such wire-tapping is hard enough for the FBI to get approval for. A religious cult doesn't stand a chance.

If I caught them tapping my phones, I would very quickly OWN the entire WTBTS, lock, stock, and barrel.

I'm glad that someone else here is coming out and saying these things that need to be said.

Bill and other prominent ones in Silentlambs as well as many on this board should take heed.

Sometimes the information shared and discussed here is presented before it reaches the media and sometimes there are more details given here than in the news.  No one would debate the fact that the WTS does indeed monitor this site and others like it.  Fortunately everyone is wise to that fact and there is a good level of discretion on this board.  [sometimes]

Surveillance is not something the WTS would necessarily have to do themselves.  Their M.O. is to do whatever they feel they have to but keep the responsibility off the brass.  In this case they need two things.  They want the information some here have before everyone else gets it.  They also want to discredit and silence those who are speaking out publicly.  Both goals can be accomplished by spending some of their vast wealth to hire private investigators.  They've definitely got the money.  And this method would be very safe for the WTS since someone else is doing the dirty work and they could easily deny any knowledge of possible illegal methods used by the P.I.

It would be unwise to assume that they haven't at least considered the option of spying on ones like Bill and others.  It would also be unwise to assume that they haven't at least tried it or may at this moment even actually be doing it.

Bill, Barbara, and others.  Please watch your backs.  This is a war now with a lot of money at stake.  Never assume that your enemy is as honorable as you are.

The Borg could EASILY chalk up wire-tapping to "theocratic war strategy" in a heartbeat.

 I'm sure they "see" their army of drone lawyers bent at the knee with eyes facing heaven, recieving "spirit direction" from the angels and Jesus. Or was that already brought out in a recent Puketower?

This is in the realms of Fantasy, pure and simple.

I was trained for many years as a telephone engineer and worked for BT, GTE and PTT Ntherlands, I have also worked for the "special services" section of the UK with the appropriate clearances.

I know what can and cannot be done, the device mentioned uses the excess bandwidth (a tel wire signals between .3 and 3.4 Mz) on shortloops. It sets off more alarms in the exhange than you can deal with. Its effectiveness is questionable, and its operation impossible unless it is contunually monitored. The penalties far ourweigh the risks.

Someone who is that concentrated on getting conversations?,  then a laser mic to a window is the favorite (BTW I have told Bill (SL) that this may have been why they put bin bags up in the hall when the press where gathering) - but you stand risk of the neighbours seeing you.
