I hate the Troof

Post 35 of 280 Since 7/8/2002	When i talk to wordly people i always tell them that i have stop in the TROOF, They all smile and say to me that's very good.Last time i have been to a meeting was the memorial this year.I will never come there anymore.I now people there never attend the meeting's, but allways come to the memorial, I vill not.

Post 558 of 1205 Since 8/9/2001	Nordie, the same thing happens to me when I tell wordly people that I have stopped with the troof. My non-jw sister, for example, was ecstatic and actually forgave me for the 30 years that I shunned her. She said, "You thought that you were doing the right thing." I have found more love and forgiveness being outta the troof than I did when I was in it.

Post 404 of 3427 Since 7/26/2002	I have found that my "worldly" friends are more friendly and loyal than my JW friends ever were. I don't have to be on guard with them all of the time either. They just accept me for who I am. I am still working on being as good a friend to them as they are to me. Sometimes I feel inadequate as their friend due to 35 years of JW conditioning. Tammy
