Things they do to impress the CO

Its the CO visit in my parents cong this week. I saw them early this morning just as they were getting ready to go out in field service and my mother said ''we really should have gotten a hair cut before this visit'' Mum was dolled up to the nines to go out on service. More so than usual. She looked like she was going to afternoon tea at The Savoy. I had to chuckle to myself. Dad is going to get a hair cut this afternoon before the memorial. just thought it was really funny.

I do find it funny/creepy now. They really get in a flutter. Giggle like school girls, fight over who gets to make him lunch, dinner, etc. They have a rock star visiting....and all the want to do is touch him. |

I find lately though that people aren't willing or able to have the CO and COW stay with them for the visit. |

Usually the Elder's wives aux. pioneer that month.... or show up to all of the meetings that week. |

I think I would rather worship Satan and his demons. At least they don't demand slavish worship like Jehovah and his filthy angels (and hounder-hounders) do. |

I've always thought it to be deceitful how everyone gets all theocraptic during the visits, like saying, "hey lets trick the guy so he doesn’t know how we really are". Oh and don’t forget to clean your house, wash your car, beat the shight out of your kids so they’ll behave, buy a shiny new outfit, get a haircut and put on your cheesy plastic happified smiles because the CO, I mean God is watching. |

You should have been at the pre CO elder's meeting I've been to. It was like awaiting the arrival of the school bully and you did your best to make sure he didn'tgive you a spiritual wedgie beore he kicked you in the coblers. When the Circus Oversneer visited he was oten a bulyboy n the elder' meetings. If the PO (now CoBE), go a bollocking so would the eldubs! I rarely met a nice CO, most were ignorant b@stards and I'm not joking either. |
