Aaaaaaaaaand here we have it, folks.... 4094 at US Bethel, 563 temporary volunteers... People at Bethel from 86 countries, oldest 99.6 years... 75 members @ Bethel 50 years+; longest there 75.6 years... Just to create the illusion that those nasty ol' apostates were LYING when they claimed that the Watchtower Corporation was dumping long-time Bethel workers onto the streets with no visible means of support, in gratitude for their many decades of selfless devotion to the Watchtower Corporation's agenda... |

Why does the WTS. never announce within their organization their own financial balances and accounts ? They do it at every Kingdom Hall. The seem to be self involved to how their publishing corporation is evolving and expanding and nothing of anything thing else. Maybe they are so pumped up by the hundreds of millions $$$ their getting from their Brooklyn properties, they just have to have a boasting session.
Oops! They forgot to include how many soup kitchens were opened, homeless shelters, nursing homes?, inner-city outreaches?, disaster relief, at-risk youth programs?, food pantries?, medical research facilities?, universities?... Extractor, thats what those evil Satan run organizations of Christendom do........Sheesh

So it takes about 100 publishers all year to make one convert? That isn't a success rate I'd advertise. "Many" people contacting the WT via website? Define "many" 5? 10? How many of those contacting are not currently JW's? If the world is so close to ending why are they planning a building program that won't be completed for two or three years minimum?

These blowhards do nothing but keep statistics, but according to the questions from readers in the last study WT they have no way of knowing the exact number of annointed nor do they have any way to keep track, nor do they keep a network of annointed ones. SUCH UTTER LIARS!! Seems as though they get statisticly "mentally diseased" when it comes to the number of annointed.

Interesting. The math shows that one person was baptized for every 111 existing publishers. Out of those 10,837 baptized what do you bet that 80% were children of current publishers? Pretty terrible results in recruiting. Less than a 1% increase. To boil it down even more...Assuming 80% baptized were kids or relatives and not from the D2d ministry that means that the past year's efforts only brought in 2,167 from the door to door work. Truly, Jehovah is speeding up the work in this time of the end? SIAM

Thanks for sharing this info! The figure for books printed seems to be down? After listing 24,883,267 books printed then you mention 302,000 Bibles printed each month. That is 3, 624,000 Bibles printed for the year. When compared to 2008 this is an increase in Bibles and since the society seems to seperate Bibles printed from books if we add these together we have 28,507,267 which is just above the 2008 figure. (This was in the July 1,2009 w, p15). The figure of 1,200,572 publishers is not just for the USA. It is for the BRANCH! This is the total including the USA, Bermuda, Bahamas, and Turks & Caicos Islands. The YB will give the figure for the USA only, these other lands are listed seperatly in the SY report in the YB. The 1,759,864 peak attendence must be for last years Conventions in these lands and the 10,837 refers to those baptized at the Conventions only. The 300 volunteers must be those who work in the Wallkill Printery ( see w09 7/1 p16.) The 4,094 at US Bethel is an increase of 86 over 2010. Wallkill expansion includes an additional 300,000 sq ft of expanded facilities: new residence, office bldg, enlarged laundry, dry cleaning and dining room and medical offices, parking garage, Technical Equipment room & recreation building. The WEC will add 904,000 square feet including additions to Audio/video services, lobby, parking garage, maintanence bldg, new residence bldg and a new 500,000 sq ft office building. Goverment approval for building is close. The World headquarters complex in Warwick/Tuxedo NY will include 850,000 sq ft of buildings including residence for 800 to 1,000 Bethelites. Once local governmental approval is granted (possibly next year) then the 4 year construction will begin. For those wanting details about the construction they are found in the FEIS filed by Kingdom Support Services for Watchtower Farms Improvements and Expansion at the WEC. There was a thread a while back in which someone posted the link, but you can google it . Thanks for sharing the info from the Zone visit with us! I hope more details will be forthcoming!!! |

@TheTrueOne - You said "Why does the WTS. never announce within their organization their own financial balances and accounts?" They actually do include a very brief report on the money spent on COs, missionaries, etc. every year in the yearbook. Not much but they do throw out some numbers. |

1, 200,572 publishers for 2011? 1,115,786 publishers for 2010 == 7.6 % increase (and they will round up to 8% ) ???
Here's the reason:
In previous years, Hawaii, Alaska, Bermuda, Bahamas & Turks all had their own branch & separate count of numbers. I would guess the % increase reported in the yearbook will take that into account, but who knows?
Back on topic, what a dreary & boring meeting. Months of anticipation, super-exclusive ticket only entrance, high security, all to find out.....Mong translators based in Sacramento near largest population,

If you put a Trip to Watchtower Headquarters as a Highpoint in your life like going to Mecca you could be in a Cult. |
