I found a new, to me anyway, site.

    www.welcome.to/witnesscd

The man was never a witness, but his wife was. He read all the apostate literture then went to the local KH to confirm the quotes from the old books. Amazingly, they let him research their library for months while they were holding their meetings. He got to know many of them on a first name basis. His site has a diary of his visits, plus much more. He also has a CD of all his research, which got very good reviews sent back to him from people who have used it. I'd be interested in what you think.

If you find one of JAVA's posting, you'll find his web page where he lists a number of good sites. I got it through a link from there, but had to send an e mail note to the author to get his original address. I think you'll like JAVA's site. It's very interesting. He talks a lot himeself, what he's doing etc. before he gets into the heeavy duty stuff. I asked him if that was by design, and he said it was so JW's dropping in wouldn't be scared off by an immediate blast of heavy artillery.

Glad you like the new site.

Thanks for the plug Brother larc. At this time, I've got 62 sites listed. It has information about Jehovah's Witnesses that is not available through Watchtower publications, and members required to present "a good witness." It's a resource for Jehovah's Witnesses seeking un-filtered information about the Watchtower Society, for journalist pursuing information about the group, and former members.

The Open Directory URL is: http://dmoz.org/Society/Religion_and_Spirituality/Opposing_Views/Christianity/Jehovah%27s_Witnesses/

I call the site you've listed, "Paul's Page related to Jehovah's Witness topics." As you said, it's at: http://www.welcome.to/witnesscd

PS: If anyone has or knows about a site that might be useful, please e-mail the URL to me at jehovah@juno.com The Open Directory is picked up by several search engines, so it's a great way to make sites known.

    Simon,

It's a UK site. I was wondering if you had looked at it. Seems to me that a lot is going on in the UK.

    Everyone:

I received these sights from an ex-JW
    in Norway this afternoon:

    http://watchtowerobserver.org

    and

    http://www.geocities.com/osarsif/index2.htm

JAVA - since they are from our "big
Norweigan friend" they are probably on your sight (I just didn't look) - maybe you can put a link under the "silentlambs" site.

The good news, folks, is that the Kentucky elder case is spreading across the sea.

The site is in English BTW.

Another case was of a German JW who was sentenced to 4+ years in prison, because he raped his wife at gunpoint after she filed legal action against him. His defence: "Man is the head of the wife." And, another, where a young woman
fatally shot a young jw man who raped her.

    Much more interesting stuff.

NEYANK: I believe you will find some info there that will specifically interest you...the behind the headlines sort of info - that you (I think) and I like.

Zazu, I have been on a mailing list set up by Kent from Norway for a couple of years now. Is this your friend? If so, would you say "Hi" for me?

    Hi Red & Zazu,

You're right Red, Kent has had a wonderful site for years. An ex-JW friend of Kent was in the US for a visit. He was very active on the Web a few years ago when the Internet was fairly new to many of us. Anyway, he came to our house one afternoon and evening; Larc, Zazu, and a few others were also there, and we had a great time. Larc and Zazu only live a few miles from me, so it's nice to have an occasional Apost-O-Fest with some of the Tower's "great crowd."

As many know, the ex-JWs in Norway are VERY DIRECT, and their Web sites have been a major pain to the Tower. A few years ago the Society tried to shut down Kent's site with some legal maneuvering--it didn't work, and his site got larger.

JAVA: yes - the "A-Post-O" fest was great fun. Next time we must put the banner in your front yard - I'd love to stand outside and watch to see if they look, passing your house, on the way to the K.H - I'll wear a very short skirt.
maybe leather, and some spikey-heeled shoes - long boa also (now, wouldn't that be a sight, ha, ha, - p.s. no comment needed...no, not a single one.)

    RedHorseWoman:

Help Needed: My mantra is not working today: bbb...wa....a.....h...a.. ..agh - see what I mean, it's ill. I am trying to let it rest and recover, hopefully soon, I need some power back!

I don't why she's tired. I've been involved in the major problem of trying to figure out who Bush should put in over the Dept. of Labor. She's only been involved the more minor problem of how to spend our retirement money.

Zazu, how unfortunate. Hmmmmm....perhaps a sacrifice to the goddess might be in order here. Do you think larc would be willing to be the main feature at the sacrificial event? I know that if he would be so kind as to do this for you, your mantra would be powerful once again.

JAVA - I. reluctantly, - admit that you handled this beautifully, not one word, only 5,000! You sly man, Bravo.

RedHorseWoman - (I just love typing out your full name - such a good "image.")
The mantra voice is definitely better - lots of salt-water gargling + extra
natural remedies, plus self-administered TLC. But, I do love the sacrifice suggestion - will save it
    for future use. TY

P.S. JAVA - Would you e-mail me "G's" address from Indiana - the e-mail address she gave me won't "fly" right - TY
