Watchtower closing Ireland branch?

I just heard from a friend who attended the convention that the Ireland branch is being closed and oversight is being transferred to the UK branch.

Does anyone have any more information on this?

The Ireland branch address is Newcastle, Greystones, Co. Wicklow.

There was another thread about the Irish branch. Darned if I can find it.

But yes, it's the pattern all over the world - downsizing by closing and selling off branches.

And just to think the advice they give to young ones about forgoing university

and make pioneering your goal, because the world is going out of business

from the looks of it, their corporation is no different from worldly corporations

downsizing trying to stay in business

What a contradition that the WTS gives.  They close branches yet continue to encourage young ones to apply for Bethel.
