Two friends came over and told me at the Long Beach convention they had atm machines distributed around the main lobby of the arena so the brothers could pull out cash and donate more freely. Anyone else hear of this at any other conventions of satan?

Some of the arenas rented by WBTS for DCs have ATMs at set locations, i think the WTBS capitalizes on this by placing the contribution boxes at or near the ATMs. How loving of them!

They want $CASH$ and the ATM fees, clever.

Be sure and write to the Watchtower Treasurer and congratulate him.

Every assembly I have been to..The WBT$ asks for cash right from the stage..

They always complain about not taking in enough money..

At the end of the assembly..

They announce they have enough money and will donate the surplus to the WBT$..

It`s always the same old game..

    Outlaw,

Boy that struck a memory cell, I got in so much trouble for writing the Society about that guilt tripping announcement and tricky accounting 'we're in the hole big time...oooops the surplus now gets sent to Mother'.

Letters came back from the Society, the City Overseer, CO and DO plus being put on the watch list locally, literally they would have brothers follow me at Circuit Assemblies, I was now Marked and on the watch list.

Here in the UK for quite a few years brothers have been encouraged to donate at assemblies and convention using Credit Card.  Contributions, cash, cheque or credit card can also be made "Tax Efficient" so the WTS can claim the extra 25%.

I bet the cash machines charged a small commission which went straight to you know who!

Why would the commission go to the WTS? Don’t all bank fees for using ATMs go to the bank?

This is a way to increase the last-session deficit.  They always used to have a $3,000 deficit, caused by sending the money to the Worldwide Pedophile Defense Fund.  Now, with people having access to their whole bank accounts, they can start running a $60,000 deficit because people can then be guilted into cleaning out their whole accounts for the Worldwide Pedophile Defense Fund.

The running perpetual deficit fund, perfect

You can own, as in franchise or outright ownership, a ATM machine and the fees charged get split with the banks and you.

I went, for the first time, yesterday just to hear the generation stuff. I noticed that contribution boxes were placed under every sign that pointed the way to the ATM. They were in other locations too, but each ATM sign had a box under it.

If I remember correctly, no amount of money needed was mentioned at the end but it was announced to make checks out to, I think, Christian Congregation of something or other.

Its not certain they do but when the Stadiums are rented the renter can negotiate any split of revenue such as parking fees etc..

Calvary Chapel ran their Harvest Crusades (errr Cult recuiting program) hoping for the Cash Cow gods to smile on them as well........

They usually don't make the 'cash grab' announcement at the DC because of the general public are more likely to be in attendance because of the DC invitation campaign. They make a point of noting of the invitations the lack of collection plates. I guess contribution boxes at every ATM don't count.
