How much coffee do you NEED per day?

I usually need 8 to 10 cups per day.

I used to drink 4 or 5 cups a day... down to 1 large cup in the morning.  Occasionally one mid afternoon...not often though.

Coffee

1 cup, but I have to have that one.

ZERO! Take B 12 vitamin everyday, it should do the trick.

24 ounces. I think thats 3 cups. I am able to work midnights with that amount. 16 ounces at 2 am.

And 8 ounces at 3 pm.

Must have 1 cup but try not to go more than 2

I'm a state law enforcement agent.  I drink two cups of coffee in the morning before I leave for work.  Then usually another 5 - 6 cups during the day with donuts (you've heard all the jokes?  they're true!).    And then I come home to Whishey and Coke.   

You're crazy drinking that much a day. You're addicted and abusing your body. Caffeine is a diuretic that can slowly dehydrate and kill. A lot of death certificates say "chronic dehydration."  It creeps up on you over the years.

I've read that 1 cup of coffee means 8 h of work for kidneys to treat it!!!

So, for me is a must to have my unique small espresso coffee in the morning...and that's all!!!!

I don't NEED it,...I don't feel sick or have a headache if I don't drink it.  But..I have 2 large cups every morning, except on weekends, when I lounge in bed longer, than I might have 3 or 4.  I'm on my third, this morning,..and it's Saturday, and I'm still in bed. 

I love a cup in the evenings, in the summer sitting on the back porch. 

I drink more in the winter, and I'll drink it later into the day. 

It doesn't keep me awake, I can drink a cup and go right to sleep, and I can't tell the difference between regular and decaffeinated. I drink it black, but I like it with cream and sugar, just cream, just sugar, the flavoredkinds...but my favorite, is strong and black.

I'm right there with Lisa. I don't NEED it but I drink about 2 cups a day (isn't that what all addicts say?).  Of course, my dumb dogs were running around, clanking their claws on the wood floors this morning at 7a (IT'S SATURDAY!arRRRRGH) so I had to get up & take care of 'em. I may drink a couple extra cups today....but not because I NEED it.

I have 3 during a weekday and more over the weekends.  Can't live without my fix in the morning.  I love the stuff.

i need none, but i drink quite a few hot milk very weak ones a day.

sheez - your pee must reek of coffee!!!!

one or two a day while at work, hardly ever over weekends.
