    Newborn, Crunchie is a chocolate covered honeycomb bar sold in the UK since 1929!  Two of it's most famous advertising slogans are; "Get that Friday feeling" and "Thank Crunchie it's Friday!"

    I work on Saturdays so it always drives me crazy when people say that.   But then if I say TGIS people would think I'm soooo weird

    I LOVE Crunchie!  In Canada, we call the 'honeycomb' part 'sponge toffee'.  You can buy Sponge Toffee without the chocolate.  It's yummy too!  Used to munch out on this a lot when I was a kid!

    OMG... I'm in such dire need to a weekend.  

     

    It's so bad that I'm afraid I'll ruin my weekend by spending the entire weekend worrying about things that *might* ruin my weekend.

    Friday use to be so special to me when I worked!! Now I'm home every day! Being in between jobs sucks! Any hoo it's Friday and my man will be home and we can go out and have some fun!  I remember not to long ago before I ment my fiance, Fridays were my party nights, clubing nights... ahhh the fun and crazy times! hahaha

    Hmmm, you may have a point there. A woman at work recently told me someone had a 'secret crush' on me, and tried to convince me to go to a certain jazz bar that Saturday. I started talking about repairing my concrete stairway at home. No wonder I don't get many dates.

    Thank the ancient Romans for creating the 7-day week. Although it would have been nice if they'd created a 6-day week with 2 days off. Damn those Romans!
