There are monster under Calvin there are monster under his bed and to keep them from coming out he would feed them. Did you ever feel that there were monster under your bed.

Yes It was something that I dreampt of for many years

For a while had the habit of standing at my bedroom door to check under my bed. Then I would step up onto a chair, over the dresser and then onto my bed. I could not step onto the floor because the monster would drag me under.

I also could only sleep in the middle of the bed because the monster might reach out and grab me and pull me under the bed.

I did this in my teens.

I would also add that in my case this terror was directly related to the sexual abuse I experienced as a child.

Never.

I had a real monster to contend with.

That monster was my alcoholic step-father.

The monsters under my bed evaporated at the first morning light or with a flashlight.  Eventually, the monsters quit trying to drag me under the bed by the age of 9 or 10.  

I will make sure my baby girl watches the Monsters Inc. movie a few times so that she won't fear her own mind.

I never sleep with any of my limbs hanging out my bed...
