While at work today, a man  in the office next to me had a heart attack.  The office staff were yelling for someone who knew CPR.  I thought to myself,' I know CPR'.  I went into the area they were at and he was on the ground.  Another guy was there beginning to do chest compressions.  So, I began the mouth to mouth.  He was not breathing at all.   After about 4 rounds of chest compressions/breathing, the guy started to cough and gasp.   He was taken to the hospital and will be released in a few days.

    It was an incredible experience.

I read somewhere that CPR only works 15% of the time.  You guys did an awesome job!

    Awesome.

You accomplished more than the millions of JWs accomplish in spending billions of hours "preaching".

You are a credit to the human race. Bravo.

    bloody wonderful!!

    white dove has it right...
    i took my requalification
for CPR a few months back

the instructor said unless you see
the person go down ( or are in proximity
as you were) there is a very very slim chance
of actually pulling someone back from the brink

    congratulations for being prepared to
    get that 4% miracle

Good going! It's wonderful to hear that you saved a life with CPR training. I took the class at work long ago, wondering if I'd ever use it. You're inspiring me to take a refresher so my card will be "current" again.
