Where is this based on?Which verse of the bible says that we have to follow certain rules when it comes to sex?(I know this is a very discussed topic). What have you heard/seen?I am sure no one ever follows that. |

In one of their wonderful, illustrated, 192 page masterpieces, they made the claim that since certain acts, such as oral sex & anal sex, are commonly carried out by homosexuals, it would therefore would be wrong for heterosexuals to engage in those acts since they would be imitating homosexuals. It's a pretty straightforward fallacy of equivocaton. Homosexuality is condemned in the bible, homosexuals have oral sex & anal sex, therefore oral sex & anal sex are wrong. |

(Hebrews 13:4) 4 Let marriage be honorable among all, and the marriage bed be without defilement, for God will judge fornicators and adulterers.

Nowhere (that I can remember reading) does the OT laws or NT books say what acts are appropriate in the bedroom - except for not lying with a woman during her period. (OT) Other than that, the laws are quite detailed and clear only on 'who' or 'what' you cannot have sex with. Men with men, your father's wife, your sister, a mother and a daughter, bestiality, etc... People have simply imposed their own social morals onto what is or is not considered sexual immorality. The only thing that can be interpreted in more extreme ways is modest dress and behavior (these are given as guides in the NT and would depend on the society, imo) - but neither of these have anything to do with the bedroom. My question would be how the bedroom laws can change if the Bible hasn't changed lately. |

I think Christianity as a whole is simply in denial about the existence of people born with both sets of sexual genitalia. How do they account for it and get God into the argument? |

Terry, When I was an Elder I only dealt with one situation of a young woman (on the outside) but had a fully developed male genitalia in the abdomen. There was a population of transgendered individuals in the city who pretty much stayed with the gay population. The thing that's not mentioned in so many words in the Bible but you kind of assume is with mutiple wives and concubines is the menage trois- one Tent and so many partners.

The law I found most insane was that bestiality and homosexuality did not break the marriage bond, that is was not adultery (1972). So some poor jw could get a divorce but could not remarry scripturally. Then they changed it (1983) but anyone who had gotten a divorce on those grounds and remarried would have been df'd for adultery. This reference is not listed under "bestiality" in the WT index. *** w56 10/1 p. 591 par. 20 Marriage Obligations and Divorce ***Sodomy (or the unnatural intercourse of one male with another male as with a female), Lesbianism (or the homosexual relations between women), and bestiality (or the unnatural sexual relations by man or woman with an animal) are not Scriptural grounds for divorce. They are filthy, they are unclean, and God’s law to Israel condemned to death those committing such misdeeds, thus drastically putting these out of God’s congregation. But such acts are not adultery with the opposite sex, making the unclean person one flesh with another of the opposite sex. (Rom. 1:26-32) *** w72 1/1 p. 32 Questions From Readers ***While both homosexuality and bestiality are disgusting perversions, in the case of neither one is the marriage tie broken. It is broken only by acts that make an individual “one flesh” with a person of the opposite sex other than his or her legal marriage mate. *** w83 3/15 p. 30 Honor Godly Marriage! ***So, then, “fornication” in the broad sense, and as used at Matthew 5:32 and 19:9, evidently refers to a broad range of unlawful or illicit sex relations outside marriage. Porneia involves the grossly immoral use of the genital organ(s) of at least one human (whether in a natural or a perverted way); also, there must have been another party to the immorality—a human of either sex, or a beast. |

Wannabefree.... Ply her with alcohol....... She might just be embarassed and scared....... Tell her to wear a sleeping mask and just to tell you how she feels......don't tell her what you are going to do, just tell her you read 'teasing' is a good way intensify foreplay..... Let her relax and just work your way up to using that particular stimulation technique. (Not TMI, in the JW and ExJW world this is the stuff of commonality!) |

I came across these two items. " Masturbation and Oral Sex. A Christian approach." The guy seems to be saying that masturbation is (Gods) way of releasing of sexual tensions. |
