In order to post a picture on JWN, you need to have first uploaded one to a picture hosting website such as Photobucket. This is what I use. Next, you need to copy the Direct Link/URL into your clipboard as you will use this to 'link' to the picture. You can select the Direct Link/URL and hit CTRL C to Copy. Now on JWN, in the "Post a reply" window, you will see a bunch of icons. The one with the tree is the one you want to use. Click on that. Paste the Direct Link from Photobucket (aka URL from your picture hosting website for the picture you want to post) into the line entitled Image URL by hitting CTRL V. Type in an Image Description and Title and then click Insert. Hope this helps. (BTW... love your avatar!) |

Heaven great introduction! If you are just posting a pic from photobucket.....say a welcome sign or smiley you can click on the image and it will take you to the image page. Scrolling down and to your left you will see these codes/links. You will need to copy the "Direct Link" code. From there follow Heaven's directions concerning the 'tree' icon next to the paintbrush on the tools bar above the commentary box |
