Please, improve this site by adding a new function or automatic alert to pop up,alerting a user of a Private Message in the box. Or think of ways to make the letter simbol on the upper right hand corner to  looks red or continueously brinking as a sign of alerting the user of a new PM. As soon as the user clicks on it, it will stop.

    Thanks

Also, if there is a way to automatically provide doughnuts and coffee in the mornings as I catch up on the pearls of wisdom from my left coast peers.

    Thanks in advance!

well pop-ups won't work because many people have p[op-up blocked on their browsers.

Simon hates things that blink so I doubt that one

But definitely one that changes = perhaps to an open envelop when there is a PM or a change in color

I would also appreciate if it automatically went to the most recent instead of having tpo click again. Same for going in to read threads I have posted on or started

It still bothers me that this board displays threads in reverse order compared to (all?) other forum software.  It causes annoying issues like Active Topics showing an incosistent numbers of threads, sometimes just a single one.

    I also would like:

    • The ability to subscribe to threads and get email notifications when a new post is made.
    • Email notifications when a PM is received.

    Bugs I still see:

    • Sometimes the reply box is not shown and you must click the Post Reply link at the top.
    • About 10% of the time I click on Active Topics I get an error and have to try again.
    • Sometimes the latest post in a thread will not be visible until another post is made to that thread.

I'd like to be able to post/create a New Topic from anywhere on the Forum/Board and be able to select the Subject/Category from within the New Topic, instead of having to be in that particular Subject/Category or a Topic/Thread on that Subject/Category.  That way, Topics/Threads won't end up in the wrong Subject/Category areas (especially for us newbies).  This could be a mandatory drop down field/window say under the Title field.

I'd also like to see a 'My Topics' and a 'Favourites' or a "Topics I've Posted To" button.  The PM envelope could change colour to indicate new PMs and I'd love to have a common area where we can post docs (unless we already have something set up on another site that I am unaware of).

In essence, JWN could evolve into something like a 'Team Room' or 'Community' where we can have live chat, discussion board, and a document repository, to name a few.

I think this site also can be intergrated to include information about dating like if he or she is looking for and how to contact him or her. Please, think of  borrowing a leaf from facebook. For example, some of us would like to date an ex-JW but not a JW or a person who has never been a JW . I think this site can be a good place for those stuff.  Please, what do you think? As for Lady Lee idea, I think pop up are an individual choice. Like my computer can permit pop ups only with my permission and from a known source. One  other things  I would like set up are already mentioned by drwtsn32.

    Thanks

If you are interested I am available. I can shave you (I love that) and I have lingerie for you (I love frilly pink lace underneath a sequin dress) in various sizes. Don't worry, we can be discrete. Our secret will be safe, only the lovetrailer will know.

I would love to see the Search engine offer a few more details like we had on JWD.  One where we could search by poster, subject, within the last week/month/six months or year.

It would make looking for certain posts we did ages ago alot easier.

    Whiners whiners.

this is why god wants a new breed of human race.

    Cro-Stepfords.

Once you are all chipped maybe the whining will stop.

The internet plug is going to get pulled soon anyway. There won't be anything available but what has the white house seal of approval. Religious dissidents are going to disappear. We have to, in order for the dominionists to keep tight control on the ones they have left.

Just be glad you have a forum for now.

The light blue font on a white background in the topic list is a much too low contrast.

Are changes to our Profiles available yet?

Don't worry guys. Simon is still busy working on the forum. I am sure these things will get his attention.

I'd also like to see a 'My Topics' and a 'Favourites' or a "Topics I've Posted To" button.

If you click on your name the next page will have your Profile. The bar at the top of the page has those buttons

I think we need an incentive to get more ideas on improvements to the website.

Perhaps we could send telegrams in the name of the winner sending love and Christian greetings to the brothers at the international assemblies.

Not sure if anyone mentioned this but when clicking through to an individual's post on a particular thread through their profile it used to take you directly to their post on the old site.  Now you have to scroll through the whole thread.  I did prefer it the old way.

I'm wondering if Jehovah is going to sign up for this forum? I really would like to know what he's up to lately. Hasn't been seen for about 2000 years.

I think its inappropriate to post some pictures on this site that might be viewed as offensive to some. I think this guy (BurnTheShips) has gone to far. Please, where is the site's moderator? Did it escape his attention? I would ask the moderator to review this sites posting guidelines # 6 in light of this user's lastest picture posting. Those of you who have posted comments geared to improving this site, Kudos.

    Thanks
