Some posts not having option to post reply?

Why is it that some posts do not have a option to Post a reply?

They don't show they are locked (that I can see) and they don't seem to be against any rules?

ps..As in the "Topics I've posted on Disappear" thread.

Bug in the forum software.  If you don't see the reply box at the bottom of the thread, you can probably still click the "Post Reply" link in the blue navigation bar at the top.

Not there either...Did you look at the thread and see if you had the option?

Oh, in the case of that thread it was locked.

Thanks, I myself couldn't see why it would be locked but I am not a moderator...

I just thought that there would be some indication of it being locked. Some boards have a little lock sign they put on them. How could you tell?

Why was it locked?

When viewing the list of threads, look at the Last Reply column.  Locked threads will show this:

Instead of the regular green arrow.

Thank you! I finally saw it on the main menu, I was looking for a lock by the actual posts.

I'll look for that next time....
